🎉❤️ BIG NEWS, COUGARS! ❤️🎉 The FINAL 2026 TEA Accountability Ratings are officially out, and Strack earned a “B” rating!
What makes this even more exciting is that our overall accountability score increased by a WHOPPING 5 POINTS during the 2025–2026 school year! 📈 That is HUGE growth and puts us even closer to our goal of earning an “A”!
This accomplishment is the result of SO much hard work from our students, teachers, and staff. The commitment, extra time, high expectations, and determination throughout last year truly paid off. We are incredibly proud of this growth and excited about where we are headed. We’re coming for that “A,” Cougars! ❤️🐾

Hi Strack Families!
The start of a new school year is almost here, and we are so excited to welcome our Cougars back! Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 12, but before we officially kick off the year, we hope you’ll join us for Cougar Night on Tuesday, August 11, from 4:30–6:00 PM. Students and families will have a chance to pick up schedules, walk the building, and meet their teachers before the school year begins. If you are new to Strack, we will also have two quick information sessions just for you! Student chromebooks will not be distributed until the second week of school. However, families can go ahead and pay the Chromebook fee through SchoolCash now. We can’t wait to see our returning families and welcome all of our new Cougars to Strack!

❤️ 🐾 Today we had so much fun welcoming our newest Cougars teachers to the Strack Intermediate family! These new teachers spent the day learning about Strack, preparing for an incredible school year, and wrapped it all up with an ice cream social alongside many of our returning staff members who will be mentoring and supporting our new teachers along way. We are very excited to see the amazing year ahead with these incredible educators!🐾❤️🍦

🐾 🥁 We are so proud of our Strack Cougars who have been working hard this week at percussion camp alongside our friends from Schindewolf! Affectionately known as SchindeStrack, this camp has been such a great opportunity for students from both campuses to learn, grow, and make music together. It’s been so neat to see these talented musicians building friendships, encouraging one another, and playing side by side. We can’t wait to see all of their hard work shine this year. Great job, Cougars! 🥁🐾
