🏃‍♀️🐾 COUGARS ON THE RUN! 🐾🏃‍♂️ Our Strack Cross Country kids were up and at ’em Saturday morning for a pre-season fun run at Klein Collins! Lots of running, lots of smiles, and plenty of Cougar energy! We LOVE seeing our kids having fun, building friendships, and getting ready for a great season ahead! Let’s go, Cougars! 🐾🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

🐾❤️We are so proud of our Academic Pentathlon teams who were recognized at the Klein ISD Board Meeting on Monday night for their incredible accomplishments on the national stage! Strack’s 7th Grade Team earned 2nd Place and our 8th Grade Team earned 3rd Place at the 2026 Academic Pentathlon National Tournament! 🎉❤️ BIG NEWS, COUGARS! ❤️🎉 The FINAL 2026 TEA Accountability Ratings are officially out, and Strack earned a “B” rating!

What makes this even more exciting is that our overall accountability score increased by a WHOPPING 5 POINTS during the 2025–2026 school year! 📈 That is HUGE growth and puts us even closer to our goal of earning an “A”!

This accomplishment is the result of SO much hard work from our students, teachers, and staff. The commitment, extra time, high expectations, and determination throughout last year truly paid off. We are incredibly proud of this growth and excited about where we are headed. We’re coming for that “A,” Cougars! ❤️🐾

🎤 And the survey says… Strack teachers and staff are READY! This year, we took professional development to the next level with a GAME SHOW theme, and our Strack staff was HERE. FOR. IT!!! From friendly competition and lots of laughs to learning, collaborating, and preparing for an incredible year, our Cougar staff brought the ENERGY all week long! Hi Strack Families!

The start of a new school year is almost here, and we are so excited to welcome our Cougars back! Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 12, but before we officially kick off the year, we hope you’ll join us for Cougar Night on Tuesday, August 11, from 4:30–6:00 PM. Students and families will have a chance to pick up schedules, walk the building, and meet their teachers before the school year begins. If you are new to Strack, we will also have two quick information sessions just for you! Student chromebooks will not be distributed until the second week of school. However, families can go ahead and pay the Chromebook fee through SchoolCash now. We can’t wait to see our returning families and welcome all of our new Cougars to Strack!
